How would you rate Merryland 色控传媒?
I've lived in Merryland until grade 6, I don't like the teaching style as teachers favour students among others in terms of academic progress. Teachers give advantage for good students to bully others with poor academic performances. There is discrimination and teachers bully students if they don't do their homework or any task in front of the class. If a student got a poor grade in a test, some teachers would call out the grade loudly and students get embarrassed horribly in front of the class. If they don't like a certain student, and he or she got wronged by someone else, staff will stand against this student. There is no care for academic progress for poor students. They destroy the character and mental well-being of children and students. This is not a good place to fit your child, this school is costly but it does not deserve to get payed in such amounts. The school should be called to be be a theater academy as when inspectors come out, they pretend to be nice and threat the students to act nicely and behave good just to get high ranking. This is not teaching!!!!!! What nonsense is this!!!!

My two boys have been a student at Merryland School and I have witnessed several instances of discrimination and negligence by the staff and administration. I am appalled by the lack of professionalism and care that the school shows towards the well-being and welfare of the students. The teachers favor some students over others based on their academic performance, religion and nationality. They give preferential treatment, praise, and attention to some students while ignoring, criticizing, or humiliating others. The school does not communicate effectively or transparently with the parents of the students. They do not inform us about the academic progress, behaviour, or well-being of our children. They do not respond to our queries, feedback, or complaints in a timely or respectful manner.

Throughout the year, we have witnessed significant growth and development in her academic performance, social skills, and emotional well-being. The way you have nurtured and encouraged each student to reach their full potential has been truly impressive. The teachers dedication to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment is evident in the way you have built strong relationships with each student. The ability to engage students and make complex concepts accessible has been remarkable. Your patience and kindness have made our child feel comfortable and confident in sharing their thoughts and ideas. Your guidance and support have helped them develop a strong foundation in this subject, and we are excited to see them continue to grow and excel. As parents, it is reassuring to know that our child is in such capable hands. We appreciate the regular updates they provide on our child's progress, which helps us stay informed and involved in their education. Please keep up the fantastic work! We look forward to seeing continued growth and success in the years ahead.

It is a very good school, you can make friends, have fun and learn a lot at the same time. Would recommend
Very poor never wants to upgrade to better.all sports played in one auditorium if auditorium reserved for smth like drama u cannot use auditorium only Indian staff except for Arabic ,Islamic,UAE, teachers
I went to Merryland all the way up until the 6th grade and I鈥檒l tell you my experiences from over there. The teachers were some of the worst human beings I鈥檝e met in my life, they humiliated you in front of the entire class, they care about nothing but your performance, they don鈥檛 care even a little about your mental well-being, let me add that they also physically beat you, sometimes they鈥檇 pull on my ear or just slap me and for the stupidest reasons too, once it was because I misspelled a difficult word in KG2. The buses are horrible, unclean, and the bus aunties always blame the problems on the kids, the bus drivers were reckless. Bullying was a huge issue and the principal (ms shiba) did not care at all, not to mention they only treat you like humans because of your status. I had an argument with a kid who bullied me a lot and when I fought back, they took his side. They鈥檙e also 2 faced, they change up so much when inspectors arrive
This was the first school I went to, I was there for around 9 years. It was really hard to actually want to go to school. The teachers are mostly really rude and they treat students terribly, they do not care about anyone's wellbeing and are overly mean and strict (not all of them, there were exceptions but very few) They call parents and humiliate students in front of the class for a laugh, the teachers are terrible. There are barely any sports and mostly you have to pay and it's not available to everyone. On the creative side of things, there is almost nothing. No music or art or anything to showcase students' talents. The pressure on students to do well is over the top. Getting good grades was the only thing students had to think about and the pressure from teachers and sometimes parents were horrible. It is not good for student's mental wellbeing. Lastly bullying was very common and the teachers, no matter how much you asked for help did not care about doing anything. I remember many, many bullies and fights that took place, it didn't feel like a safe environment. Overall I hated most of my time there and I feel sorry for my friends here right now. Do better merryland.
The teachers become strict easily. They always say '' I will give you one nicely,simply talking''. The urdu teacher Ms Saima always gets mad at small things and starts calling our parents on small things. The English sir of grade 7 shows too much favoritism.The hall conductor is always screaming and shouting. The washroom aunties always kick us out of the washroom. The bus drivers are so bad they always look at you in a bad way. The bus aunties shout so much and then blame the problems on the children. The buses are so dirty they never clean them and the bus aunties stink. The teachers act so nice when inspectors come they tell the children to act nice and kind. This school can't even afford a single tissue box. The teachers ask the primary children to bring so many glues and keep them with them for years. They don't even have a canteen they should have cause we students have to stay back and get hungry. They are always drinking tea in front of us. The teachers pay to much attention to the Arabs and everything for the Arabs. For the UAE national day, they always make Arabs dance never us. Some girls in the school always ask for food as if they haven't eaten for days. Don't admit your child to this school it is a hell of many cockroaches and insects in the classrooms.
Im so happy i left this school. The teachers are so strict and embarrass you in front of the entire class. They don't let us do anything and they say the school ends at 2:00 pm but the buses usually had to leave at 2:25 pm. The ADEK guidlines state that the school should have a prayer room, the only thing is that the school does have a prayer room but we can never use it. I have only been there once in my 10 years of going to this prison. We never had any breaks except for this "lunch break" where we could not even talk to our friends and it only lasted 10-15 minutes. They change when it is inspection time so that is why they manage to get outstanding every time. I hated this school so much
I am a a student in MIS and it is really fun. In assembly you can dance and sing and do really fun activities but the only thing we don't have mid term breaks but we have extra holidays
There is very little extra curricula activities for students. There is lack of accountability and responsibility from cchool management regarding transportation, bullying and parents' concerns. The attitude of school management is very arrogant and unprofessional. The students are harassed in the name of discipline.
The school is toxic and the I can say that half the school would agree with my statement. The principal punishes us for the smallest things and there's not tolerance and mercy shown to the students what-so-ever, the school doesn't provide good education, (we all have to listen to the same thing and people who have a different way to learn things don't have a choice). MIS uses things where students are not shown any sympathy as they take pictures and show fear to students for the smallest reasons. For some reason we're told to not talk during "break times" which is a measly 10 - 15 minutes. and we have no other breaks. In fact that's the only time we're allowed to eat. To put things simply, we're all controlled and have no say what-so-ever. The total costs are not worth paying for what we get. And I can't see the school trying to improve either.
Toxic environment , my kids are miserable , reputation is all fake only gardes 10-12 are acceptable. Management of the school is way old style and they don鈥檛 respect students at all .
My experience was very bad the teachers were very bad and only some were good, they teach old stuff and don't teach us what will come in the exam my A level experience was very bad and I'm happy I'm gone from there
The school is not good place for the grooming of students. I have noticed culture of bullying and ill language, which is not effectively controlled by responsible, despite being reported. I opted for the school based on its reputation for better studies, but overall can conclude that the decision was not right....rather it spoils the students personality.
Teachers are very good and also strict environment and values that we need to see in our kids.

some of the staff is nice but school principal seems very strict, biased, and judges on very small details. control by fear kind of school. teachers are 0 tolerant and feel difficult to deal with kids with different learning abilities. teachers get easily get irritated.
The school is very toxic.
In the school since FS 1, currently in the school under 14 football team as CF represented school in Abu Dhabi School Champion and ADEK Cup. This is because of the world class PT Teacher Mr. Santosh, Coach Ahmed, Mr Stephen & Mr Christopher Learned to play key board and continuing music as the interest started from grade 1 from the school choir through Music Teacher Mr Ravi. Teachers are outstanding seems to be personally chosen from their previous record and experience and take pride in individual pupil care to get the best in academics year on year. Mr Avinesh, Mr. Akhilan, to name this year and last year class teachers. Some of the students who passed out are doing excellent in career as Merryland creates future leaders. Many Thanks for Mrs George to establish this great school and wish Mrs George a very Happy Birthday. May the Almighty shower blessing with good health and happiness for many more years to come.
The school had biased teachers. the education is poor as all teachers talk in an extremely Indian accent, so it is incomprehensible for students. Teachers prefer Indian students over other nationalities. The teachers are also known for faking stuff in front of inspectors from UAE AEDK, even suspending a girl for exposing them. As a student from 8G Antony Ashvin Dass I want to say this school is horrible even as an Indian. The sports and extra curricular activities are low
Studied at this school for 6 years and absolutely hated it . If you want your child to hate you for the rest of your life then send him here . If you want your kids to face racism and abuse for being a Pakistani please send him here
I am student from 3 years and prefer this school. There are many events. Mobile is not allowed because children come to study not to click photos even on a trip

Why is this school like this I mean it is the best school in abu dhabi but in the bus you can鈥檛 do any thing why why just tell me why?

This school provides no extracurricular so if you re thinking of applying to good unis abroad (top US colleges) , try some other school. If you are planning to apply to unis where grades are the only thing they care about, this is it. And if your child is just starting out his/her academic career there are way better options. This is not a school where creativity and thinking for one self is encouraged. All they do is past papers which can be done in the luxury of your own house.

This is actually a bad place the students are playing and fighting every time teachers don鈥檛 even bother as soon as the inspection starts they pretend to be good but this school will never change Locals are given full right to do anything in this school but other students aren鈥檛 this school is racist ,mobile phones are not allowed even when going on a trip buses are messed up no seatbelts According to the fees this is not enough Teachers maybe good but they waste time I鈥檝e been to this school indoor and outdoor looks good but it bad the bathrooms stinks we get only 1 p.e class in a week and that also p.e teachers are fat not fit at all Not recommended at all

The bus has no rules. If one person is very disturbing the teacher will not get mad at them and also the teachers are always very strict but not every teacher
