About Transylvania College

Transylvania College, Cluj is a student-centered school, offering a complete educational path, from nursery to high school. It is the only international school in Cluj-Napoca and in the region accredited by the Romanian Ministry of Education, which has been awarded official BSO (British School Overseas) status by the UK Department for Education, following a series of inspections. Furthermore, Transylvania College is an accredited member of COBIS (Council of British 色控传媒s), and the school is under the High Patronage of Her Majesty Margareta of Romania, Crown Custodian. In high school we teach the National Curriculum of England and Wales, in preparation for IGCSE and A-Level exams, being an accredited Cambridge International Examinations (CIE) centre.

Our campus offers a unique, multicultural learning environment where close to 700 students and 100 teachers, representing 35 nations from six continents, embark on an educational journey while becoming mindful leaders.

At Transylvania College, children learn how to become self-reliant, take initiative and plan, while setting and tracking goals. They prioritize their time, manage their emotions and are considerate of others. They learn to think critically, express viewpoints persuasively, and find creative solutions. As they develop their teamwork skills, they understand how to value differences, work collaboratively and resolve conflicts. These are much-needed skills to achieve personal wellbeing, as well as success in today鈥檚 workplaces.

Our graduates have been accepted at University of Cambridge, Imperial College, London School of Economics, University of the Arts London, King's College London, University of San Diego, University of Melbourne and more prestigious universities around the world.
