How would you rate Amsterdam International Community School?
Nice school, friendly teachers. Primary school is really nice and my child loves it. Dutch teaching level could be improved.
AICS is a Dutch international school and shouldn鈥檛 be confused with the more expensive private international schools in NL. It鈥檚 a dutch public school offering english-language PYP/MYP/IB curriculum to mainly long term expats. AICS has a nice community vibe & an active community-focused parent group 鈥渢he melting pot鈥�. Primary school education is good & the kids thrive. Secondary school continues to improve & students seem happy enough. AICS鈥檚 IB Diploma programme delivers on par with worldwide pass rates but it could do so much better. AICS is spread across three locations in Amsterdam Zuid & is moving to a new location nearby in spring 2022.

My daughter attended the new S.E. location for Fall 18 term. Really enjoyed her time in primary school. The teachers and staff were very cooperative. Overall a positive experience to our family's Amsterdam experience.

Very nice school. Teachers are very nice and helpful here. The education challenges students to do their best. However there are many complaints about the admins not always responding to the problems of guardians, parents or children. This school is very international and extremely diverse. I recommend this school and is very welcoming.

Very bad experience .. Management also doest listen to your complaints
